Magpie makes L.A. Times List

Los Angeles Times food Critic Bill Addison set out to answer a question: “What restaurants altogether tell the richest, broadest story of dining in California right now?” Addison compiled a list, and Magpie is honored to be included in the Los Angeles Times list of 101 Best Restaurants in California for 2025. We are certainly grateful for the LA Times and for Bill Addison for including us. Thank you. And thank you to all the Magpies, guests and staff of all times. Over the last 20 years Magpie has endevoured to make food that reflects the culture and values of Sacramento, and the Great Central Valley.
